Question of the week:
Do you have a favorite series that you read over and over again? Tell us a bit about it and why you keep on revisiting it?
My Answer:
Yes, that would be the Iron Fey series by Julie Kagawa. Obviously lol lets see my song was devoted to Ash, my Waiting on Wednesday was devoted to its fourth installment, and tomorrows review is on The Iron Queen, so yes you can say it's my favorite series EVER. 'Cus it is! no denying that.
It is my favorite series for many things.
1.) The way she writes and the world she created/transformed is so undeniably enticing. She has you felling Meghan's pain, happiness, and fears throughout the story.
2.) The characters she brings up are lovable and real (as real as faeries can get that is)
3.) She made the hottest love triangle I have read so far. Puck is so hot, humorous, loving, and protective you have no choice but to fall for him. I did. He is Meghan's best friend and protector. He would do anything possible for her...maybe even take a bullet per-say? ;) I love his witty humor! Almost every line had me laughing uncontrollably. But he also knew how to be serious when it was neccassary....hahaha not!! If you know Puck he is never serious. Well, maybe when it comes to protecting Meghan.. I'll give him that
And then she gives you Ash...Oh, Ash *sighs* Ash is a "off-the-charts", sexy bad (but not so bad) boy with an icy exterior. He at first shows no interest at all in either Meghan or the Nevernever itself. He (of course) ends up falling for her any ways and becomes even more smoldering with his "sweet-nothings" and gentle carreses. Now I have to stop there because I dont want to ruin my review for tomorrow but this list goes on and on and on and on and on.....well you get the picture! ;)
