Define what characteristics your favorite books share. Do they all have a kickass heroine or is the hot love interest the Alpha Male?
My Answer:
OO! Lately my favorite all share these same qualities:
1. The hot brooding bad-boy love interest (which my dad hates!) lol ;)
2. I also have been falling for the cute, charming best friend boys...they are just so cute! :D
3. Yes, I love the kick ass heroines but I like a little of vulnerability to them...they have to have some torture behind that wall ;)
4. The mystery behind it all whether (like Unearthly) you don't know the purpose or (like Firelight) You don't know why he loves you? Why does he stick around. Personally I am gettin a little tired of the "Who am I?" "What am I?" junk...but that's just me! ^-^

5. If you were to check my shelf.....All except one are series (trilogy, 4 or more) It's insane! I DRIVE myself insane anticipating the next book and the horrible HORRIBLE wait!!! >:( But I love them! haha
What about YOU!? Leave your link in my comments and I'll be sure to check yours out! Have a great Friday! :)
You've got the perfect checklist going here. I agree with it ALL! I'm especially a sucker for the brooding bad boy (a dad's worst nightmare). I didn't think of the series aspect of books, but that tends to be a trend of my favorite books too. AND THEY'RE TORTURE!
Trilogies are the best because there is sooo much more character development involved!! I never fall for the cute best friend though...it's always the bad boy ;)
Ooooh. I completely agree! I need to read more paranormal. But Contemporary has my heart. lol. P.S. I have a little girl I babysit named Jaiden as well. I've never understood why you'd name a boy that or spell it any other way. Love it. :)
Oh yea.... I love reading all in a series, too. I hate waiting enough that sometimes I wait 'til they're all out before I begin. I'm kicking myself over reading Delirium 'cause I gotta-gotta read Pandemonium and word is, "cliffhanger" again. *groan* Great answer. :-) I'm a new GFC follower. My FF: Colorimetry
Oh, I'm jealous. I'm not a fan of most Alpha heroes, and I don't like the typical "Kick Ass" heroine, either, because often they.. come across as annoying to me. And considering what most books feature lately, there aren't that many that I really LOVE. XD
I love the cute boy-next-door types, I'm a total sucker for a good romance! I also like my heroines to have a bit of vulnerability behind them too, it makes them feel more real! Great answer.
Best friend boys YAY! Those are my favorite. Have you read The Boys Next Door by Jennifer Echols? It's one of my all-time faaaaaavorites.
