Do you pay attention to what makes you happy--and what makes you unhappy? I do. I've found that I don't like, and am not very good at, hiding who I really am and what I care about. One of my favorite lines from HUNTED is "You don't feel much like living if you can't be yourself." It's something I really identify with, something that's true for me. I think it's why both Caitlyn (in HUNTED) and I have such a hard time hiding who we are. We *need* to be all of who we are to be happy.

But being all of who you are can be a risk. For Caitlyn, it could mean being enslaved, tortured, even killed for being a Para, someone with Paranormal powers. For me when I was growing up being abused by my cult parents, it meant enduring a lot more torture and threats to my life because I couldn't hide my vulnerability, my desire for safety, for me and the people around me to not be hurt. But it also meant that I had a clear vision of who I am and what I stand for, what I needed, and what I dreamed for. I put a lot of that into Caitlyn, as well.

I found a way to escape the abuse and torture I was living in, though it took me many years--and Caitlyn finds a way, too, to make things better in her life. It's something I think we can all find if we don't give up, and if we stay true to ourselves. I hope you'll pick up HUNTED, and enjoy Caitlyn's journey for something better.

Vacation???? :/

Hey everyone,

So I'm here today with you all, on this post, on my blog, for very good reasons. Item of topic #1:

I am taking a vacation. No not to Hawaii or any exotic place like that. Sadly I'm taking a vacation from my blog.... Ya, it sucks but it is needed. My grades started dropping and I was getting REALLY stressed out. I wanted to stick to a schedule and give you guys all sorts of awesomeness that I was putting off homework and therefore grades....not good. So I will be gone for awhile. It's nothing permanent just something more like a breather. I don't know WHEN I will be back but I WILL be back! Pink promise!

To my followers:  If you want to unfollow me I understand. You have every right if I'm not going to be giving anything right!? I would hope you don't but I understand if you do....

To interested authors: Sorry guys. My vacation means I am no open for review requests, interviews...ANYTHING. So if I don't reply to emails that is why. You may still send them for when I get back with my blogging but only then.

To awaiting aithors: Yes, I am aware that I am behind on your reviews. I'm extremely sorry. I really can't stress how deeply sorry I am. It is nothing intentional just how my life is going right now...

Yes, I am aware I made interview dates for you. I will still get those done because I hold my word. A promise is a promise and I would be lazy and selfish to go back on my promise. Your interviews WILL be done on time and will go on!

Yes, I am aware I am on some of your blog tours too. Those WILL also still happen!

Wow you guys! This book was incredible! First off I want to apologize to the author! It has taken me an awful amaount of time to get you review and I apologize greatly! (Also to other authors that are still waiting for the reviews: An explanation, apology, and agreement post will be up soon!)

As for the book.....ya it was amazing! I have slapped myself for putting reading it for so long! It has so much to offer! The beginning intrigues you and makes you wonder what is going to happen! Great prologue! Genius! It has so many mysteries and gets right to the point! Miss Duncan wastes no time and has a way with words that's for sure!

Adriana was a great protagonist. I enjoyed reading everything from her point of view. She isa person I can relate to...except for the paranormal in her life that is. This book was so detailed I believed it to be real some of the times! I literally had to check outside at a couple of times to see if there was a hurricane brewing outside and I live in a dessert! :O Seriously...like no joke! I had to constantly make sure I was brunette (have the blue eyes) and that everything was like it as supposed to be....THAT'S how real it all seemed!

Oh I can't leave out the boys now can I? So I admit! I love these boys! Word of advice for when you read this book....go easy on Luke.....Hayden...Hayden is super cute! Man I can't even say anything without giving it all away! All I'm going to say is...As cute as Hayden is....I LOVE Luke! Always have even from the very beginning...I don't know why I just did and I knew! From the very beginning I knew!! Muahahahahahaha #TeamLuke...enough said! ;p

You guys NEED to read this whenever you get the chance! You will not regret it! And a portion of your buy helps go to the New Orleans Area Habitat Humanity for Humanity!! Great right! This book is one I am going to re-read for sure! Even now I keep re-reading my favorite part over and over AND over and OVER AGAIN!!! I just can't get enough! It makes me smile every time I think of.......ya book two needs to come out soon! That ending was way to terrible! ;p
