Don’t miss this spectacular new series that will steal your heart and haunt your dreams,  Welcome to Shadow Falls camp, nestled deep in the woods of a town called Fallen…

One night Kylie Galen finds herself at the wrong party, with the wrong people, and it changes her life forever.  Her mother ships her off to Shadow Falls—a camp for troubled teens, and within hours of arriving, it becomes painfully clear that her fellow campers aren’t just “troubled.”  Here at Shadow Falls, vampires, werewolves, shapshifters, witches and fairies train side by side—learning to harness their powers, control their magic and live in the normal world.

Kylie’s never felt normal, but surely she doesn’t belong here with a bunch of paranormal freaks either.  Or does she?  They insist Kylie is one of them, and that she was brought here for a reason.  As if life wasn’t complicated enough, enter Derek and Lucas.  Derek’s a half-fae who’s determined to be her boyfriend, and Lucas is a smokin’ hot werewolf with whom Kylie shares a secret past.  Both Derek and Lucas couldn’t be more different, but they both have a powerful hold on her heart.

Even though Kylie feels deeply uncertain about everything, one thing is becoming painfully clear—Shadow Falls is exactly where she belongs… {Goodreads}
This was definitely a change from all the books I have read. But that is a good thing! :) Normally books stick to one creature of the paranormal: a book about werewolves, a book about vampires, a book about the fey, etc. Not this book. This book had them all! Even the ones you don't really read a lot about.

After attending a high school party with her friend and the cops show up Kylie is sent to Shadow Falls Camp, a camp for "troubled" teens. One exception, these teens are not troubled at all they are just....different..... paranormal different. All the creatures of the paranormal find refuge at this camp. At first Kylie hated the camp. She called the people there freaks. Little did she know she was one of these "freaks".

Throughout the beginning of the book she can't stand being there, hating her roommates, hating her mom for sending her there, well just plain out hating being there! But she has no choice, she has to stay there till it ends...at the end of summer. Crappy right?? Not necessarily, little by little she comes to like her roommates, forget her ex by spending some time with, half-fey, Derek and, childhood friend(their past is complicated) who is also a werewolf, Lucas. And she can't hellp but fall for both of them.

Derek is so sweet and really cares for Kylie. He is totally drool-worthy cute and man does he have a rockin bod! (what is it with these fey boys huh?). Then there is Lucas, the one from her childhood who punched the street bullies for picking on her and from that day on walked her home just to make sure she was ok and that those mean 'ol bullies never hurt her again!! Awwe! Cute right?? Oh, and he also has a rockin bod! (what's with these werewolfs too?...psh I just fall for all those paranormal boys!) Honestly I don't know which one I like more. Once I decide the other ends up making me like him more and so the cycle repeats!

The rest of the book revolves around her boy issues, and her identity crisis. It has been decided that Kylie is one of them for sure but what exactly is she? No one can see her brain patterns, it's blocked but not intentionally. What family member has the paranormal genes? And what's up with this soldier constantly following her? What does he want and why won't he just go away?

This book is full of twists and turns. It keeps you guessing and making you guessing yourself. I constantly made different situations and possibilities but once I thought I got it right...nope! WRONGO!!!! And in the end.....you still don't get the question of what she is answered!!!! Now I know what you are thinking: Well then what's the point in reading it? Where would the plot be? That seems like it would be boring and a waste of time?....Stop!!! rewind!! no if you are thinking that then think again! This books was worth the read. I will warn you: this book contains alot of physical attraction, wants, and it can be a 'lil detailed but not to much where it makes you feel uncomfortable or anything. It just played alot with the teenage hormone thing lol. But again don't let that sway you away! No. No. Bad!! Don't do that! *gives stern look*

*~~~~~~~~~~~Final Say~~~~~~~~~*
So go pick this book up and enjoy the mystery and suspense!! I really, really liked how C.C. Hunter brought all the paranormal together! (Man, I've been using that word alot in this post: paranormal) haha Yupp! So there you have it! Hope I was helpful! Thanks for stopping by!! :D
